The
Citizens Corp Council is one of the first 100 in the country to be established
as a result of President George W. Bush’s call to service in his
January 2002 State of the Union speech. The Citizen Corps Council, along
with the Medical Reserve Corps, Neighborhood Watch Program, Volunteers
in Police Service and Community Emergency Response Teams, is a grass roots
initiative and is a part of the USA Freedom Corps.
